Popular Nigerian songstress Yemi Alade recently opened up on why music lovers may never get to enjoy a joint collaboration between herself and colleague, Tiwa Savage.
There is no doubt that music lovers have always attempted to put up a battle of supremacy between the two singers, who are without any gainsaying; the biggest female acts in Nigeria.
In a recent interview with Bolanle Olukanni of Ndani TV’s The Juice, Yemi who recently released a new body of work titled Woman of Steel, approached the topic of a collaboration between her and Tiwa.
According to her, the trouble that people keep steering their way would probably not allow them to ever come together for collaboration.
This is because either of them may not be able to tell what the outcome of such a project would be. Yemi pointed out that it may be overrun with a lot of negative talks by naysayers.
Explaining further, Mama Africa as she is often called by staunch supporters noted that when music acts come together for a project, it’s always to make people happy.
She asked what the song with Tiwa would be fueling and encouraging. Yemi concluded by pointing out that what would be, would be.
